Sedation
Sometimes dental treatments cause anxiety, nervousness or fear in patients. At our clinic we have a specialised anaesthesiologist who can calm the patient by intravenous sedation techniques, minimising post-operatory discomfort and achieving a high degree of comfort during the operation.
This intravenous sedation is especially recommended for patients with systemic pathologies (heart, coagulation or blood pressure problems, diabetes, etc…) because it allows us to better monitor all of their vital signs during the surgical procedure. Once the procedure is over, the patient recovers full consciousness and is able to leave after only 30 minutes.
